Camp William Penn

Due to an unforeseen problem that we cannot resolve by Wednesday, we will not be able to Zoom-cast the May 13 OYRHS lecture on Camp William Penn. However, the lecture will be conducted live in-person as scheduled. We apologize for any disappointment or inconvenience.

The lecture series is sponsored by a grant from the Jenkinstown Lyceum and all programs are offered on Zoom free of charge. No reservation is needed.

Instructions for this Zoom webinar will be posted by noon the day of the lecture or for advance notice, please email the Society at oldyorkroadhistory@gmail.com to be added to our mailing list.

The presentation will also be broadcast on Zoom. See the following information in order to log-in. You may log-in after 7:15 pm.

Tips for viewing on Zoom

1. Keep your microphone and video off. They should be off automatically. The icons representing each is at the bottom left side of your Zoom screen. The red line through the icon indicates they are off.

2. In the upper right corner of the Zoom screen is a small icon that says “View”. You may want to click on and choose “Full Screen” to have the best view.

3. Zoom viewers may ask questions at the end by using the “Chat” function at the bottom of the Zoom screen.

4. Log-in before the start time as admission may be delayed close to the starting time due to technical requirements of the Zoomcast.

While we have taken all necessary steps to provide a seamless experience for you, should things not go as planned, please have patience while we work out any issues.

As always, we are so grateful for your support. We hope you enjoy the program!
